What is Arts Therapy?
Arts therapy is a way to express yourself without having to find the words to describe how you feel. It's not for arty or creative people.
Sometimes a few marks or scribbles on a piece of paper can help clients express what is happening in their lives. This kind of therapy is especially powerful for those finding it hard to put their feelings into words.
By moulding clay, doodling with a pencil, or splashing some colour onto a page ,we often feel more able to describe what's going on inside.
Experimenting with art materials and seeing things visually can be a way of expressing what's going on inside ourselves. It’s a journey of play, contemplation, and inner connection. In this space we can begin to understand what is happening in our bodies, hearts and minds.
Creative expression is about the process, not the final product.

Arts Therapy & Counselling for individuals:
Individual for 1 hour: $125 in person or $100 on zoom
Couples for 1 hour: $165 in person or $140 on zoom
1.5 and 2 hour sessions available on request.
A sliding fee scale is available for those in need.
